Last Saturday I went for 2 days to<br />
Halkidiki, in Ouranoupolis in Greece specifically ,with the Tenere 700 is meant,<br />
and I stayed in a hotel that had the best pool I&#039;ve ever been to.<br />
4 pools basically.<br />
Everything was very old in general in the hotel,<br />
but the pool he had was something else.<br />
In other words, we are talking about a pure moto adventure excursion !!!!!<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Buddy in coffeyville had a 250 honda rebel for sale in kansas. Daughter wants to learn to ride. Bike was pristine and fair price. Was gonna ride up in April to visit so justbwent up earlier. Left january 2,came home january 9th.  2658 miles layer bike delivered. Was a great time with buddies as well visited bonnie and clydes joplin,mo hideout and picked up a tee shirt at hide out harley.<br />

Can ride all day on the back roads and see maybe 10 cars. Roads in good condition too. Daughter and her family live a mile up the road so they are here often and which is cool. 8 year old grandson new riding partner. Nags me for rides 24/7.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Went there fri- Monday. Its only about 2 1/2 hours away. Off season. Not crowded. Hotels and food cheap. Did not take bike this time. Took family and dog. Still lots to see and do.  Gonna go back with friends on bikes soon. Gotta a bead on some pretty decent looking watering holes. Been a while since i been there. Got a good idea of where everything is and what hotels are located.<br />
stocked up on fireworks too.<br />

Rode the first day in torrential rain of BETA storm. Rest of the trip was perf3ct. My ass bone still hurts. Was supposed to go to alpine, texas another 600 miles but buddies bike broke and turned into a four day shit show to repair it. Used my bonus bucks to buy wife good summer jacket and then off to swanzey,nh to pappagallos italian restaurant where the veal is the best. I had the veal marseilla and wife had veal Boscasaila. Tried an old school martini...nasty. Didn&#039;t even drink 1/2 of it. Stayed with coke.<br />

Eyeballed the new electraglide standard. Would have enjoyed that bike 30-35 years ago. Good looking basic bike. At this point i&#039;d miss the ammenities like radio,gps etc......<br />

 I finally made the run from here in Nevada out through to the Coast on California Hwy 36 once I got to Susanville.  I took Hwy 36 to the 101, but called it a day&#039;s ride once I found a motel in Fortuna.  That was a ride of over 400 miles, lots of twists, 6,000 ft or so of elevation change and 47F degrees in temperature swing.<br />

Hwy 36 is not fully re-paved, yet, out in Trinity county....and since the highway is closed from 8am to 5pm daily for repairs, I did some...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Back...235 miles. Best Part was the ride there and ride back. Saw an eagle eating a deer carcass. Went up rt 4 to 149. On the way back took  149 to 4 to 7 to 103 to 130. Shit ton construction on rt 103 just outside ludlow. That stretch of rt4 between ny border and rutland is 65mph. As roads go up here that stretch is real good.<br />
<br />
Americade sucked. Use to could park in the free pasture, walk a 10th of a mile to a pretty big vendor site. Thats gone. The free parking is near a mile to the vendors...<br />

That is something this site has made possible,  linking up with folks that are of the same mindset as of other dedicated bikers. Gonna head out in late June or early July from here in central Nevada.  Just a 3500 mile or so run, depending on route. Can take me through many Western states, but I do plan on hitting eastern Colorado at one point, probably on the way out, but that is flexible. Semper...<br />
