Ok just got back from lunch and got to deal with the daily dose of idiots in cars. Co-worker was telling me as I punched in that one about hit him the other day. Looked both ways, pulls out and hears a horn and there is a truck about 2" off his bumper. Said he was wondering where did that guy come from.
That got me thinking. This is bad enough in a car but on a bike it is suicide. Ok we all know the dangers of not paying full attention. Then I got to thinking the common excuse for running over a bike is "I didn't see it". Now not being one to think low of the human race , I wonder how many times it is the truth and how many times it is just the common answer.
