on the bottom of the bike about in the middle of the crank case is a drain plug
i've been told to never mess with it what is it?

for the record, i am on of those people who hates the holidays. i can remember when x-mas was not all about gifts, and what you were gonna get.
it use to be about family, and the celebration of the birth of jesus, somewhere along the way, we got off track. i blame big bussines.

i must have been a pretty good boy, cause santa sent me a new back tire,and a windsheild for my sporty. the back tire was so needed, no more burouts for this dog!!!!
i also got a windsheild, looks great but does not work worth a phuck!!
and i dont know how to tell my pretty little wife who got the dam thing for me, that it really sucks!!!
i just dont want to hurt her feelings, she is very sencitive, and it was a very kind jesture.
in this case i willing to tell a little white lie to save her feelings, and...

Hi all,
On December 12 Cowboy wrote about his upcoming knee repair In January.
Many of Y'all replied. with good advise.
If anyone has info on knee implant recovery I would like to know when will I be able to ride my Road King. My Dealer errr I mean Doctor will install the new hardware January 21. He says six weeks for recovery but I'm not sure if that includes a 900 mile bike trip.
Your comments and advise will be appreciated.

I already put a 1 1/4" drop kit ( one of the metal brackets kind that moves the shock back and down ) and I have on order 1" drop (12") shocks.
Any guesses if being this low will cause any motorcycle to other motorcycle parts interference?
With the 1 1/4 drop block, I no longer feel like I am trying to forcibly know the bike in a biblical sense . 30" inseam to the stock height was simply uncomfortable but, the full 2 1/4" drop I think will look sweet and have my feet planted nicely on the ground.
I am still getting used to riding again and know that I have yet to used to getting the sides of the bike as low as it could be in turns but, that is not the question now ( feel free to throw in 2 cents on that also ).
