I decided to remove some scratches from my saddle bag lids yesterday using some Turtle wax polishing compound, now I have even bigger scratches 
. Suggestions anyone? Also I've been using one of those spray on....wipe off sprays, works pretty good, but does it offer the same protection of a good old fashioned Carnuba Wax? Last question is about the chrome. As much as I hate chrome, I wound up buying a bike that was loaded with extra chrome. At some point I will be removing said chrome pieces and either **** canning them or sending them out for powder coating. In the mean time is there any sort of protectant (other than wiping after every ride) I can use?
