FIFTY YEAR OLD MANURE SPREADER – $1 (WASHINGTON, DC)
Fifty-year old manure spreader. Not sure of brand. Said to have been produced in Kenya. Used for a few years in Indonesia before being smuggled into the US via Hawaii. Of questionable pedigree. Does not appear to have ever been worked hard. Apparently, it was pampered by various owners over the years. It doesn’t work very often, but when it does it can sling s–t for amazing distances. I am hoping to retire the manure spreader this November. I really don’t want it hanging around getting in the way. I would prefer a foreign...

I own a 1997 Harley Dyna Low Rider, it has a CV carb that was rebuilt not to long ago. About 12 thousand miles on the bike.
Yesterday I started it up and heard hissing sounds coming from the engine, can't really tell where it's origin is. I noticed when I pulled the choke out the engine runs very fast, a lot faster then it used to when in neutral. I also noticed that there was a wire coming from the Carbuerator Enrichener knob that had been touching the head, and it was burnt, but not all the way through...looked like it wasn't damaged. It's not a constant hiss, just when the engine turns over. It runs, but coughs and backfires more now. I checked the sparkplugs and the oil and they were fine.
Anyone had this problem before?

New Direction for any war: Send Service Vets over 60!
I am over 60 and the Armed Forces thinks I'm too old to
track down terrorists. You can't be older than 42 to
join the military. They've got the whole thing ass-backwards.
Instead of sending 18-year olds off to fight, they ought to take
us old guys. You shouldn't be able to join a military unit
until you're at least 35.
For starters, researchers say 18-year-olds think about
sex every 10 seconds.Old guys only think about
sex a couple of times a day, leaving us more than 28,000
additional seconds per day to concentrate on the enemy.
Young guys haven't lived long enough to be cranky, and a
cranky soldier is a dangerous soldier. 'My back hurts! I can't
sleep, I'm tired and hungry.' We are impatient and maybe...
