I have a 2012 Street Glide.
Looking to install a hidden antenna. There are two brands that I am looking at: The "Tuner Trapper" by Kuryakyn or the "Flexpower" by J&M Motorcycle Audio. Both seem like good antenna with the "Tune Trapper being cheaper in cost.
My quetions are: Has anyone installed a hidden antenna and how do you like it? What are the pros & cons of installing a hidden antenna? Has anyone heard any pros or cons on the two I mentioned? And are there other ones out there that I have not researched. I have looked at Harley Davidson's hidden antenna and I am not inpressed.

I have a 2004 RK S&S 510 g cams,Mikuni 42mm, Thunderheader, SE hybrid billet cam plate and high volume oil pump,S&S dual runner intake. It has 55,000 miles on it and I have noticed a weird knock when I shut it off.I just adjusted my primary chain and wondered if maybe it being too tight would make it do that.Any ideas are greatly appreciated. In the AM I am gonna drain the fluids to see if there is metal showing.thanks for advice,Ben.

I got a 1980 1000 CC custom XLCH. I'm trying to switch the ignition from points to a HI-4N electronic ignition. I made it past the TDC setting so the engine started. I've been warming it up for 16 minutes or so and trying to get the front piston advance mark into the middle of the viewing hole. It back fired a lot when the timing got started and it still does it some with that front piston advance mark close to the middle. I can't tell if the ignition settings cause the back firing or that I just need to advance or retard it some more. There is no tach so one has to guess if the engine is running at the fast idle. Are there any electronic ignition timing tricks?
