Seems as I've forgotten how to hook up my horn and I'm asking for some advice here, boys.
I have a standard mini-horn with 2 connection points. I have a retro style button with 1 wire. There are no modules, just a simple hookup. I had it on before and it worked . . . I'm mounting the button on the handlebars and the horn beneath the tranny - out of sight but not out of hearing.

On a lark when I got out of work yesterday at 4pm I told my wife to get ready cause when I get home we're heading out to parts unknown. She hadn't been on the bike yet as a consequence of the weather and our schedule.
Wasn't quite sure to which direction we were heading until after I picked her up and we decided to head north on VT state rt 14 and which parallels I-89 North in case we wanted to get back on the highway. It was a scenic rolling hills farming stretch of road. We stayed on it for what seemed like forever(28 miles), you don't make time on those bumpy ass cracked back roads and we needed to be home before dark as we live in moose and deer country. So I jumped back on the interstate for about 3 miles. The next exit was for Barre,VT and we needed gas too. It was one of those...

What I'd like to really say about this year is not printable here for fear of violating established protocol, however I am for once, a bit at a loss for words for my experience in Laconia this past thursday. One particular incident was a momentarily pseudo life changing event. I'll try to mentally walk thru the day...
Here we go....My friend Scott who is the service manager at the local dealership met me at my house at 7am. He was packing his fiancee Stephanie. My wife couldn't get the day off ( she just doesn't know how lucky she was) so I was riding spouseless.
Laconia is about 1 hour 15 minutes from my house under normal conditions so were were leaving with plenty of time. We were heading to the dealership for a sponsored group ride to the Mt Washington Auto road leaving the...
