I would like to find out everyone's thoughts on poker run style events. In particular, what would be your ideal amount of miles for a poker run? Around the part of Nebraska where I live there are only so many routes to take, and have been for the most part worn out due to all the local runs taking them.
In your opinion, on poker runs, what do you enjoy the most about them. This could be anything from contests, raffles, 50/50, or any other activities that take place while on the poker run.

I personally prefer a longer ride (more miles) with shorter stops, opposed to a shorter ride with longer stops. Around here its pretty much one or the other without back tracking over the same roads you already rode!

Hi everyone, the problem is, when my bike is stationary but the engine is running it is very hard to get into the gears you know so I can from N to 1st with ease, but when I try 1st upwards then it doesn't have any of it, also it is very hard to get into N from 1st when the bike is running but stationary, another problem is the gear indicator says it's in N but when I let go of my clutch it starts to move like it's in gear meaning I have to turn the engine off get it into neutral and turn it back on, thankyou anyone for being able to help me, it is much appreciated :

My brother is in a pretty bad way. Spent several days off and on with him. He has developed a infection they call Septis which is a infection that attacks your blood and organs. The infection has spread to his spinal cord area and into his legs and the bladder. Worried right now that he might not make it. They were going to do surgery on the spinal area tonight but decided not to now. He is on mega doses of antibiotics. He can't even move his legs. Really, really worried about him. His wife wont leave his side and is sleeping in the hospital room. Sorry to dump this on yea all hear just really scared for him tonight.
