So, Am going on a 4+ month exotic beach vacation... only a couple problems.... it is end of april through first week or 2 september (projected), and average day time temps are going to be well OVER 120 degrees....oh, and there won't be water within MILES........

On My New Tank There Are 2 Nice Size Holes At The Bottom, Guessing This Is A Crossover. On The Stock Tank There Is A Line From The Bottom Of The Tank That Goes All The Way To The Primary Case. Is This Some Kind Of Vent Line Or Emmissions. I'm Guessing That The Pop Up Cap Is Vented.

Ok guys why am I going thru 2 ignition boxxes a year?? I can't find anything wrong but the brain boxxes are burning up. 82 Sportster XLH. Does anyone know if the screaming eagle moduale would hold up better? Suposedly I can replace the trigger assembly with a SE unit and I can get rid of the computer on the frame (the one that keeps going out)

I am rebuilding a tc 88 in a 2001 Roadking.
95 ci, larger tb, diferent cams.
I'm not going to the track just looking for something quicker.
I am wondering if I'll be happy with a Power Commander.
Anyone have any imput?
Also, if I had a stage one before, will the changes they flashed into the brain affect what maps I will use?

Hello men and women, especilly Chucktx, Cowboy, and VYBR8ER. I thought it was time to get off the rear rotor wear thread and start a new one:

Acording to the Dunlop site, the D401 series tire is the ONLY one "recommended and approved by H-D". They even say they have a great alliance with each other. (Dunlop + H-D)

The D401 has the H-D name on the sidewall and costs about twice as much as I can get a D404 series for

Both have the same ratings (H), both are bias tires, same rim size etc.. The tread is a little different, but not by much. Both can be viewed on Dunlop's site.

SO, once again is it the H-D "fear factor" and the fact that they want to sell the tires that they recommend only their private branded tire, or would anyone out there have a problem using a D404...
