with the weather the way it is i won't be ridng for awhile; so . . .i drained my primary, the stuff was black with some metal shavings on the drian plug.
my question is should the fluid be that dirty if regular maintaince has been done all along
(the bike has 20,000mis on him, mostly highway) i'm thinking i've been paying for something that hasn't been being done:angry: took yhe primary cover off and things are clean w/o any additional metal shavings
i know to check/adjust the chain, and will check the tork on all the available nuts and bolts. i'll do the cluch too. any thing else i should look for?

Anybody had any experience with Rinehart True Duals vs 2 into 1 headers, ie torque curves / HP.

I just spoke with the service guy at the dealership. My bike is there. I have to say that I'm not thrilled with the trucking company (recommended by H-D), but I'll hold off on all judgment until I see the bike. The guy seemed amused that I was so excited that my bike is here. I'm going down there tomorrow and we're going to sit down with the tech that's doing the work and figure out what's going to get done. I feel like I'm going in for a surgical consultation. Anything with my bike like that, I feel like it's a part of me. There must be something wrong with me.
