I know many of you out there are fortunate enough to not have to be concerned with this, so don't rub it in. But from those that have to park it for the winter, how do you store yours? Do you store it sitting on the tires or do you raise it off the floor of your garage? I have always just parked mine on the kick stand, plug in the battery tender and throw a breathable cover over it. Never had any problems when I get it out in the spring.

My brother in-law stores his up in the air on his bike lift. Seems to think you get flat spots in the tires if you leave it on the floor. Someone told him that it's not a good idea to store it on a lift because the weight of the rear wheel puts to much strain on the swing arm busings. Any thoughts on this?

heres one to make you ponder, or not, I was looking at the am bag. mag today and realized I have never seen, (not saying it hasn't been done) a hard bagger with a kicker on it or if it's even possible without a total revamp of the baggs.

I'm not sure I understand the "requirement" for rejetting when a K&N stage 1
and a set of V&H BIG SHOTS are installed on my '04 Road King. What if I
just left the carb as is? I know one of you guys can make it simple for me.

i was painting and the neighbors kid was hangin out. wanted to "draw also" gave her a few crayons and some paper. i think she did a pretty good job!!!!

ask yourself, did you clean it? Why are you replacing the carb? Did it always perform poorly? At least try doing a cleaning, it does not have to be rebuilt, just dump the bowl and make sure everything seems to work, wipe off any thing that can come off and put back together and adjust.

Man did my FLHS start easy after a cleaning and winds up real nice also. Now I feel stupid for not doing it right away.

There is a how-to on tech tips. I vote to not replace the carburetor unless it is wrong for the configuration of your bike.
