I Remember Awhile Back Someone Posted Something About A Bike Lift Made Out Of 2x4's. I've Serched The Threads And Can't Find It. So If Anyone Remembers Please Help. I'm About To Start My Chopper Project And Really Don't Want To Buy That Standard Atv Bike Lift , Because It Does'nt Go Low Enough. Every Time I Use My Buddies I Have To Lift The Bike On The Jack And Even Then It Does'nt Sit Strait Or Stable.

Would it be considered procrastination if I bought a new gun and went to the range to play for a while?

Guess most of you are getting pretty bored with my slow process with this conversion--- I have been asking questions for about a year now. Well, work life, and weather seems to always get in the way (We can ride here in New Mexico almost every month). I think I have hammered down most of the fine points via the net and books, but there is always one more question. The latest is--- If I install the V-Twin 883 to 1200 conversion kit (which is sitting on my shop work bench) , do I have to mess with the ignition module? My bike is a 2005, and has the SE intake and filter, Cycle Shack slip ons, and the correct jets all around. An independent (ex HD) wrench says I will have to go to HD for a new module. HD says that there will be no problem, no need for a 1200 cc module. Any thoughts?
