Hi Everybody,

I got to wondering my 06 883 sporty is rev limited at 6.000 rpms, since i have Ken's stage 1 and pipes and highflow A/c this thing pulls right up to the rev limiter very quickly thru the first 3 gears with every indication of having a lot left beyond the 6k. I saw the MoCo has a emission legal Screaming Eagle ignition for this bike and the only difference between my stock ignition and it is the RPM limit, 7000 for the Screaming Eagle. Can the stock valve train handle the extra 1000 rpm without any work such as heavier valve springs etc. Also i do not know if i would buy this particular unit, there are alot others out there.

This has been an amazing foliage season. It's usually hit or miss with weather for the whole month. Columbus Day weekend is the tourist weekend for foliage. That Saturday we had temps in the low eighties and all sunshine. Unbelievable. I rode a couple hundred miles around Vermont and enjoyed some good color. The next weekend, a little chillier, but sunshine and more color. Today, back up in the seventies and still good color in places. I've never seen anything like it. Usually the color comes for a few days, maybe a week, then it rains and all the leaves fall off and that's it. If you miss the day or two that's warm and colorful, you're out of luck. This fall has been awesome!

I was just wondering if anyone here has used the V&H FUELPAK ?
The good the bad the ugly,I do understand it does not give you as much control as the Power Commander.

I have just ordered Vance and Hines V16719 slip ons,the Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage I Kit I was debating between PC3 and V&H Fuelpak I chose the V&C FP over the PC3 mainly for the Cost diff. and ease of install.

Research showed that with the other two upgrades Air and Exhaust I could have trouble with the mapping,I did not want to take a chance of messing anything up,I'm not really looking for tons of power increase just a bit better performance over stock.

Does the ECM control the coil?If my ECM is Shot will I get no spark???
