i'm lucky i live in rural pa. people are far nicer than when you get around big cities. they tend to cut one and another breaks when on the road, and are for the most part nice about it. but look out on sundays when them knee benders get out of church you better look out:injured: ; get out of their way. there've been forgiven of their sins are lookin to comit more for next sunday. it's barely fit to be on the roads til around 1:00 - 2:00 pm. antbody else notice this:devil:

Couple a months ago me and the wife were on our to Shreveport la for a weekend of gambling and motel sex. We had a blowout on I 20 at 10:00 pm 10 miles from the state line. Ill say this now DO NOT RELY ON ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO HELP YOU WHEN YOU HAVE TO CROSS A STATE LINE
we sat on the side of the road till 2:30 am before the local PD dispatch
got us a wrecker to take us into Shreveport
Roadside assistance HOG or Progressive could not help there seams to be against the law for a wrecker to transport a motorcycle across state lines without some kind of special permit, and there aint too many that have them. Anybody have a similar story or if they are blowin smoke up my ass?

Gentlemen,

I am giving some consideration to perhaps upgrading my Dyna Low Rider to a VRSCAW V-Rod. Would like to see if anyone can provide opinions or suggestions.

I know that this is a liquid cooled machine, it provides a completely different riding position and style, it is radically different from the standard classic look of our Dynas, Softails, and Road Kings, and yet it maintains the Harley feel and flavor, it is the way forward for the Motor Company in my humble opinion. I look forward to reading your experiences and suggestions. Please let me know at your disposal.

I purchaced a solid state voltage regulator for my 75 Sportty,I noticed the generator light on real dim when I am riding,I checked voltage at the battery when motor is running above an idle,and got 13.7 volts,Is there any way I can increase the voltage(book says 13.9-14.5)or any way to get that light to go off at 13.7 volts....Thanks for any help...

Yeah it's me again with this same blamed 05 sporty.

I got the Thunderheart ICM in, installed, and all hooked up to the laptop. Finally figured out their software. Super easy to use, but the instructions are lacking to say the least. (NOTE: should anyone else get the TH ICM with Smartlink III software, click on your MAP section and hit the F2 key it gives a list of all the button functions)

When I first got it I couldn't get the system to link up with the laptop. Being impatient I just had to flippin know so I tried to start the bike. To my surprise it started right up and ran ok at idle still. Before it would cough and carry on when you gave it gas, now it just quits.
I took all I knew about it (didn't take long weren't much) and all the information I could find on the net...
