I have a 1980 GS550L which I bought a while ago and started work modifying it to make it into a bobber. It always ran well, started well (except on cold mornings). But the other day I was riding to work and it starting missing and losing power, so I dropped a gear and went full throttle, which did nothing, so I pulled out the choke, dropped a gear and again, went full throttle. Still did nothing and then started losing more power and then died completely. Sounded like it was running out of fuel but I had heaps in the tank. I pulled over and started cranking it, but it wouldn't start at all. Then I pushed it down a hill to try push start it, it started then died instantly. So I got towed home.

Know you heard me talk about my nephews mom passing away and him being depressed for a couple years.
And him coming home at nite time and the concrete divider that goes in the center of the road, it was on the right hand side of the road.
And my nephew was coming home and got off the edge of the road and hit it and flipped his car.
The Police officer that come to the sceen ask him if he had had anything to drink and he said 3 beers. He wasn't even conscience.
He don't remember talking to the police officer, He don't remember the ride in the ambulance to the hospital. He woke up in the emergency room
That is all he remembers.
All this happened a YEAR ago.

I've read your proposal for legislation restricting the capacity of firearm magazines. This proposal, of course, comes in the wake of the terrible shooting at the Clackamas Town Center mall. I would like to offer some assistance in this matter, if you'd be willing to accept it.

You propose to limit the capacity of firearm magazines on the theory that if the shooter had had less ammunition available to him, fewer rounds would have been fired, reducing the number of injuries and deaths.
