A horse story..

An Amish lady is trotting down the road in her horse and buggy when she is pulled over by a cop.

"Ma'am, I'm not going to ticket you, but I do have to issue you a warning. You have a broken reflector on your buggy."

"Oh, I'll let my husband, Jacob, know as soon as I get home."

"That's fine. Another thing, ma'am. I don't like the way thatone rein loops across the horse's back and around one of his balls. I considerthat animal abuse. That's cruelty to animals. Have your husband take care ofthat right away!"

Later that day, the lady is home telling her husband about her encounter with the cop.

"Well, dear, what exactly did he say?" asked the husband.

"He said the reflector is broken." replied the Amish lady.

"I can fix that in two minutes. What else?"...

Well we're supposed to get some snow here tonight and tomorrow. Not really looking forward to it either but if everything goes according to current plans, I have only 48 weeks left to work so hopefully next year I'll be able to ignore the snow warnings. Yep, snow tonight and then just this past Saturday we had a poker run for the Veterans. Had a good ride even though the temp had already began to fall. I had to cut it short due to the bite of the cold wind as I'm still working on getting my immune sytem back up to par.Had about 20 or more bikes. One guy had his grandson in his side car and the interesting thing about his side car was that even though the car stayed vertical, his bike leaned normally. Looked a little odd.
