I apologize for being away for awhile. Things are going okay though. I'm slowly but surely getting strength and stamina back. We.managed to take a trip with some of the chapter members to Lynchberg for a visit to the Jack Daniels Distillery then on to the George Dickell Distillery. Went on to Nashville and did a night of "honky tonking" on Broadway. The next morning we hit I40 back to NE Tennessee. I got off I81 at the Blountvagas (Blountville) exit about 9pm. It was getting a bit chilly but we had a WONDERFUL time!!

Rode out of Asheville up Hwy 221, Hwy 105 through Boone to Jefferson. Hwy 16 up through Marion Va up to Tazwell, called "Back of the Dragon". Color was at peak. Out of the way, not normal leaf lookers route.. was awesome. Spent Sat night at a little motel in Cedar Bluff Va, then down through Abbington, Bristol, Hampton, and Erwin Tenn. No way for a man to make this ride and not know there is a GOD!

My Brother in Law said this will probably be his last time he will get to fly this Jet.
He is the one in the plane, and in the picture with the jump suit

Hello Guys,
Newbie here...I have an 82 Sabre V-45,Im restoring. Fired it up this morning and got an "oil" warning. Popped open the oil cap to do a visual on the level, and got a gusher of fuel/oil mix. Best I can figure ALL of the fuel from the tank wound up in the crankcase.I have drained it,and now wondering how this happened....Stuck float on one of the lower carbs perhaps?
Has anyone seen this, and if so what was it?
Really dont wanna pull the carb manifold off again unless I have to.
Thanks in advance for any help.
