Hey guys,
I have a 1981 Harley Shovel (1340) that has been sitting for a few years so my old man picked it up cheap.
The starter motor turns the engine over, but only sometimes, sometimes it just sounds like its spinning, I pulled the primary cover off and everything seems okay, but what would be causing it? Also, when it does work it turns over really slowly like the battery is flat, but I had a car battery and jumper leads straight to the solenoid and it still went slow? The car battery is on charge now but thought if it was a battery problem a car battery would turn it over easily.
Any tips? Cheers guys.

13 Reasons to Vote for a Democrat
When your family or friends cannot explain why they voted for a Democrat, they should be given this list.
1. I voted for a Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.
2. I voted for a Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
3. I voted for a Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
4. I voted for a Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers, rapists, thugs, and thieves.
5. I voted for a Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it...

This isn't a very long trip we'll be taking today, about 120 miles total, but there will be some interesting stuff going on when we get there. The Biker Barn is a business that works on Harleys, and sells parts.
The owner throws this party every year and this will be my first one. There will be a pig pickin', soft drinks & low power beer, raffles, prizes, and a bike show we can enter. It's a family oriented affair so should be a good time to be had by all.
The weather today will be perfect, although breezy. Should be about a dozen or so of us riding up. Tattoo is taking his pickup because he has a designated driver to bring him home. LOL.
I figure to enter my bike in the show. Also will be replacing all the rocker arm seals on site as I've developed a leak on one. As a temporary fix,...

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living.
All the typical answers came up -- fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman... and so forth.
However, little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied,
"My father's an exotic dancer in a *** cabaret and takes off all his clothes to music in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little Justin aside to talk to him.
"Is that really true about your father?"
"No," the boy said. "He works for...
