Bike Talk motorcycle forum

Anybody have experience using it on rocker gaskets and the paper type head gaskets? I am going to try "Indian" head shellac gasket sealer.

Today I woke up, sat down, logged onto Bike Talk, had coffee, logged off of Bike Talk, then fired up the Sportster!!!!!

What a great it was indeed. I rode 347.7 miles today. We took Hwy 26 up over MT Hood ( some pics of it here) then down Hwy 35 to Hood River and then over the Hood River steel grated bridge. From there we went up Hwy 14 on the Washington side of the Columbia. Turned left at the Klickitat canyon road and then rode that to the Town of Goldendale.
We had a great lunch, Maddog had a fresh Shrimp cocktail and I had my usual (Club Sandwich) was really good. There in Goldendale then Maddog and I left heading back down to the Columbia River. Crossed over into Biggs Junction then up to a town called Wasco. We checked out a 1880's built motel and still be operated as a motel by a friend of his. Installed new chrome switch housings and brake reservoir on a HD. Had to run new wiring down thru the handlebars, so I pulled the tank back about 6 inches. disconnected the fuel cross-over under the tank, removed the instrument cluster on the tank, loosen the pit **** and pulled it down about 4 inches because it had a clear plastic hose connected to it inside the tank. needed to do that to get to the plugs located along side the frame. Put everything back together and all switches worked, but now the bike has a bad miss, ( stumble) in it. can't figure out what happen. I readjusted the clutch cable and throttle cables. Anyone have any ideas?????
