when riding my 98 sporty there is a rattle coming from front tire area when i apply the front brakes it stops.any ideas

I have a few dollars to spend on my '97 Dyna Wideglide over the winter. I've been thinking about a nice streetable cam (suggestions here would be appreciated). Also some head work. I'm a fairly good performance minded mechanical type person (not to toot my own horn at all. I've just grown up around it). I have done some of my own port work on two cycles, Chevy small blocks and even some alcohol burning Briggs Kart motors. Does anyone have any sources of information or personal experiences on doing some mild port work to the Evo heads? I would imagine an ignition upgrade would also be a good idea.......................aaaahh but then again, what to buy? Any suggestions would be great. Seems to be a lot of very knowledgeable people on this forum. Figured I'd start here. Thanks guys.

Rear belt pulley sprocket
I know the results of the five studs shearing and the pulley spinning on the axel at 85 mph whilest passing an 16 wheeler (God knows I was lucky) What I would like to know is what has caused this too happen. All five studs sheared inside the thread about a 5-7mm.
I am running a Fat Boy solid rear wheel on my Heritage and have done so for the last four years.
Any ideas might be helpful.

ordered a 2" streched tank for my 06, efi, hertiage, got it. but it has two fuel line outlets:cussing: i called the company they said it's susposed to be that way and if i block the other hole it won't drain the other side of the tank:witsend: anybody know anything about why it has two holes. the bike came with one outlet. to top it off they didn't include the bracket inside the tank for the sending unit, which i'll take from the old tank and have welded into the new one, but this two hole thing:witsend:
