Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with my 2007 Sportster 883C (with EFSI) on which I installed Rinehart S/O Mufflers (designed for the 2007 XL883C) last week. Ever since the engine hesitates when pulling up in 1st gear : for the first 1-2 seconds it seems there is no power; once past that point, the engine seems to be running as before. Very ennoying when passing on crossings

I'm a very new rider (only 2 months) so I really don't want to mess up my bike.

I'be been told that the air/fuel mixture might be too lean, and that the bike maybe has to be remapped.

questions are : is that possible on the 2007 XL883C, and, is there really no other solution ? All remarks are very welcome !

I am going to sell my 2005 FLHTCUI and go back to my favorite bike, a 2008 Heritage Softail Classic. My Radio,CB,CD Player etc will be a real loss to me.
The one thing I will miss most on our 6000 mile plus trips each year will be my Cruise Control as I have found it to be a great feature. As far as I know HD does not have a CC for the Heritage. Does anyone know of a dependable after market Electronic CC that is available for the Heritage?

I ride a 2007 Sportster, on which I got new mufflers installed. I chose Rinehart, because of the sound (which is indeed very dark and profound). These S/O Mufflers are made by BUB and are designed for the XL883C.

Nevertheless, I experience a problem with them. When pulling up in 1st gear (and I am not a racing pilot !), the engine "hesitates" for 1-2 seconds, which is particularly ennoying when passing crossings.

With "hesitates" I mean that when you turn the gas handle, the engine does not react immediatly... there is no power. (Sorry guys and girls, English is not my mothertongue, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say )

Does anyone recognizes this problem or does anyone has some feedback for me ?

I'm starting to write my book proposal and I want to include some parts of the blog. Are there any stories you can remember that were funny or a good description about riding? I figure if you can remember some part, it would have been one of the better parts.
