Trying to squeeze any kind of road time before the harsh winter sets in. Tuesday the 23 October looked as good as any. Couple problems...1) getting home at midnite usually don't go to bed till 3am and while it was suppose to reach 60 by mid day that means it'll be no more then 35-36 degrees or even less in the morning.
Co worker at work and who has 5 kids recently purchased a 1999 Kawasaki something..it looks like a road king, windshield, hard saddle bags and all. With 5 kids he's lucky to even have that. He was wanting to get together and if I could take him about agreed Tuesday was good for him too. We agreed to meet at 0730 hours.

My 07 EGU with 15,000 miles gives me a bang every now and then. I thought it was me releasing the starter button too soon sometimes. I can go for 20 or 25 starts with no trouble then on one of my lazy days I'll get a bang. Almost like it just about started then kicked back. So do I have a failing compensator or am I right that I'm just lazy and release the starter button too soon? I've only had this happen when it's hot. That's why I'm not sure if it's just me getting lazy on the start button now and then or if something is starting to fail.
