now i realize the temperature is 95*-100*, and we are not water cooled. but my oil tank was so hot yesterday that you could hardly touch it...so how hot is too hot ? :devil:

I have a friend, not computer literate, that bought a 2005 Dyna Wide-Glide. Right now it's got some kind of leather soft bags and he wants to put hard bags on it, but they have to look like they were made for the bike, nothing that is "cobbed" together. Has anyone done this? What's available for that bike?

Well, I did a dipshiit thing. I didn't want to go warm up the Sporty cause it is really hot and humid. So instead, I just started draining fluids. I went to loosen the inspection cover, broke one my allen sockets and that screw will not budge.

Obviously, since I already drained the primary, I can't start it to get it warm, can get a torch and heat it? How about the the rubber o-rings that are on both the screw and the one that goes around the inside of the cover? Will I melt them? I guess I will never do that again. :rant::rant:

putting back together a 1989 flh after doing the top end....when i press the starter button it continues to turn over i have to disconnect the battery cable to stop it.....i've tried a new solenoid and relay .....any suggestions would be apprecitated...
