Yesterday my friend & I rode our Road Kings up to Virginia City. The weather was beautiful in the valley (about 4200ft). As we climbed to the city at 6,220 feet above sea level it, the snow became thicker and thicker on the hillsides. Fortunately the road (Six Mile Canyon) remained clear of snow and the few potholes were easily dodgeable. Traction sand was mostly gone, too, so it was just a gorgeous ride up the snow-filled canyon. Once in VC, we broke out our cigars and sat in the warm sunshine infront of the Bucket Of Blood saloon, where my great-grandmother used to work back in the Roaring '20's. There were about 6 other bikers in town, but all from nearer-by Reno.

The mountain west of the city was socked with snow, but the breeze was slight from the east so all that ice didn't...

Im sure a lot of us here are also hot rod fans. Boyd did about as much for the industry as anybody. He built some beautiful hot rods. AL

I finally had my '07-FLHTi dyno tuned at:RC-cycles in Hayward,Ca.
The dyno tune gained me 12HP's & 11ft. lbs. of torque.This had to be the most labor $$$ I've ever paid someone else to work on my motorcycle.I must say I'm completely satisfied & glad I had this done.I read other forums about dyno-tunes & decided to git her done.00 wildglide

Hey everyone, just bought 1998 harley softail with 1340 evo, the bike runs real strong and will idle after it is warm....but it boggs down when i start off and i have to keep the rpms up high to keep it going, once smoothes out it hauls booty...it has k&n filter and drag pipes....I'm thinking something going on with the carb....maybe mixture or to much fuel dump in the begining....any ideas???? thanks
