Ok the folks at my local stealership have done it to me again. :witsend: I truly hate calling them even though at this point I have their number burnt into memory. Although they are friendly to me now (guess I earned my way into their little click) they just don't stock anything I need or have folks that know what the heck I am talking about even though it is their #s.

Can anyone point me in the direction to get these items. HD-42682 Breakout Box, HD-46601 addapter for 2005 XL, and HD-44750 Digital Technician?

I have gotten my codes from the onboard diagnostics, but need this box and addapter to go through the flowchart process on fixing it.

I got a 01 Roadking with 95k miles. I want to finish out the year but I'm getting what I think is blow by. The crankcase breather hose, which doesn't really vent the crankcase but the oil tank, is blowing a little oil out. I just went to NY and lost almost a qt. of oil in 1200 miles. I am definitly burning some also. Any thoughts?

Another lesson learned & passed along......

So I went and had work done when I was laid up (as many already know). Bike was running great for awhile and then Street Vibes in Reno came up. I took Ol' Red out there and knew from the get-go that something was wrong. Being onery and a bit more grumpy, I just pushed her - but that didn't make it better. So I pulled the plugs to get a read and I found the rear one fouled and had to think. What could foul one plug but not both? I checked the vacuum issues with WD-40 at the carb - nothing there. So I went to Chaz O'Neil's place in Reno and got another set of plug wires, along with a lot of free brainpower help. And that was the problem - must have overheated one of the stock wires from the coil while burning through a hot summer run...

has anyone seen a map for high compression pistons and SE 203 cams with ported heads(stock valves), I have D&D Nightstalker 2/1 pipes, but I'm not really concerned about that.....thanks

Hey folks, had a burly one inch lowering kit I adopted to my 07 bagger on the rear and progressive one inch lower front. Anyways, this am I installed the new IDS system on her and there is a clearence issue between the new IDS pulley and the lowering kit so the lowering kit has to go. My question is , will there be a handling problem with a one inch lowered front and stock height rear .? Has anyone done this and put some miles on the bike at higher touring speeds. It seems like it should be fine as the bike originally sat higher in the front than rear when it was stock , however many years ago powered a glide out of a tank slap and never, NEVER, want to do that again. Ya'lls advice here is greatly apreciated.

Yes I know they sell lower shocks but I am a little on the lite...
