Got a front wheel brake caliper leaking pretty bad. Thoughts on rebuilding it? Seems simple, but as it is a brake (life saving device) and I have the opportunity to ask first, what is the general opinion out there?

We had discussed this on another thread and I thought I'd bring it up again.
I recently removed the 10 1/2" baffles from my pipes and have been running them open since. After riding for a while, I have noticed a slight drop off in power at the top of the RPM range when shifting thru the lower gears.

So, I'm going to try the 3/4" washer trick. I already have screw holes near the end of the pipes so I figure I might as well make use of them. I fabricated all the pieces I need and just have to get the washers welded to the ends of the 1/4" bolts.

Dyno testing has shown an increase in HP/torque depending on how the washer is turned. More torque in the low to mid range if washer is set for most resistance (90 degrees to pipe) and moreHP if turned sideways.

Went to head out at 8am and bike wouldn't start. I was like "what the heck?" On switch was on but no nothing from the start button. I just sat there completely baffled for a moment. I was ready to push start it if necessary. Then I remembered, it hit me...ahhhh its got to be in neutral to start,whewww. I vaguely remember reading that somewhere. And thats wicked new for HD in my experience.

In my defense I been riding HD for 36+ years. I'm use to the rodeo ride when kicking or starting in gear,lol. I'm guessing thats a good feature? I know Suzuki had a similar deal in there Intruder line but with the kickstand and that was problematic when the bikes got older.
